A Mindfulness taster session gives you the opportunity to dip your toe into Mindfulness and stress reduction. For an hour, you’ll experience a gentle and relaxing introduction to the principal skills, techniques and scientific research behind Mindfulness.
Taster sessions are ideal if you are interested in the NICE recommended 8 week Mindfulness course. Taster sessions enable you to start developing the skills to bring a kind, non-judgemental awareness to your experience, your body and your mind. You’ll also learn how to apply mindfulness to stressful, uncomfortable and painful situations in order to find more ease. We will also explore how Mindfulness relates to your life and personal circumstances so you can gain even more benefit.

How will a taster session help?
Working with an experienced Mindfulness teacher you’ll learn to become more present and attuned to your experience. This ability to pay attention to your experience in the present moment and without judgement is the cornerstone of Mindfulness practice. Mindfulness is an embodied quality rather than something we know intellectually and therefore can learn a great deal from practicing with an experienced teacher. The Mindfulness we can experience in the presence of others helps us find that quality in ourselves. Previous participants have been surprised the change in how they feel between the start of the session and the end.
What is the cost?
A 1 hr taster session costs £50. This runs as an individual 1-1 session in Stony Stratford or online at a time and date of your convenience.
